Saul Park and Playgrounds

So here it comes, one of my favourite places for everyone. Saul is little, beautiful village just few miles away from Hardwicke, Gloucester. You actually can enjoy even your way to there- driving road surrounded with fields you can test your kids knowledge on farm animals. You can as well enjoy really cool view on River' Severn. Saul is quite famous with Marina Saul Junction but I will leave it for next entry. Let's focus on our fun fun. My first attempt to find this playground did not work well and I had to face all this husband-bleah blah that I am taking us somewhere that I dont even know where. I did not give up and on second attempt I FOUND IT. When u drive through Saul village (from Gloucester side) turn right just after beautiful old red phone box. Little road will take you to FREE small carpark. In Saul park you have absolutely everything. And to be honest.. I didnt see it overcrowded ever, not even on weekends. Its a very large field, approved even for wild kids. You have swings, climbing frames, few picnic benches, mega sand pit, mud kitchen, zip slide.. on the other side of large, green, grassy field (woo, not even so muddy after wet november) you can find basketball field, bits and bobs for older kids like mini skate ramps and large slide. All surrounded with super green fields and fresh smell. You cant really ask for more, can you? Actually there is no toilet on site, if I have to find something to moan about. I would say its pushchair friendly but not really necessary to have one as car park it is just on site.
